Master Association Integration (MAI)

What is a Master Association?
A master association is a type of common interest development, typically the size of a whole neighborhood, and is comprised of multiple sub-associations - which are themselves either all or a mix of condominium associations or homeowner associations. The master association is typically responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities in the development that are not within the boundaries of the sub-associations.

Master associations are typically created when a development has multiple sub-divisions built by different builders or developers; multiple condo buildings built at different times or phases; and/or a collection of single tower associations with a single ground floor common area facility.

Like each sub-association, the master association will also have its own governing documents, budget, expenses, board of directors, and management; and each sub-association member is also a member of the master association.

What is Master Association Integration (MAI) from CondoSites?
When both the master association and sub-associations use CondoSites, we make it easier for the end user to stay informed. Through our Master Association Integration (MAI), content from the master association's website is automatically injected into the sub-association's site, eliminating the need for the user to visit two websites.

With MAI, end users only need to login to their home sub-association website to see content from their sub-association and the master association. Further, the master association can mass email some or all of the integrated sub-associations without having to maintain their own database of users. MAI is also compatible with our digital signage allowing viewers to keep up with news and information from the sub and master.

Features of MAI
In addition to all of the standard features and services of CondoSites, MAI communities also receive the following features:
Automatic document and information feed to sub-association websites  [ more ]
Mass email sub-association users  [ more ]
User directory available for one sub-association or combination of all  [ more ]
Automatic information feed to sub-association digital signage  [ more ]

MAI in action...
Whisper Walk - Boca Raton, FL
Whisper Walk is a 55+ community comprised of 1,446 homes broken up into five sub-associations - and it is a very active social community. While the master association is gated, the sub associations are not, and it can be difficult to know where one begins and the other ends. Further, each sub-association often works with a different management company.

MAI makes it possible for users in each Whisper Walk sub-association to have access to a unified resident directory, so they can have easy contact with their friends and neighbors; while making it easy for each sub-association to operate their website easily and to their needs. This is not achievable with a website provided by their property management company, and is not dependent on all communities being managed by the same company.

Islandia - Jensen Beach, FL
Islandia is a two-tower high-rise condominium where each tower is its own association. The two independent towers have a common property owners association (POA) that is responsible for maintenance of all the recreational facilities and security.

MAI makes it possible for each association to operate independently while the POA can easily share news, documents, and information to each website without having to enter it twice or have access to each association's website. The POA can also easily email the users in one or both towers without having to worry about maintaining a database of subscribers.
